Pinguicula Lutea (Butterwort)

The Pinguicula Lutea Butterwort up for sale is not necessarily the one in the picture. The Pinguicula Lutea Butterworts I have for sale right now are the size and condition of the one in the picture. It is pictured in a 3 inch pot. Most all of them have at one or two flowers on them but there's no guarantee the flow stalks will be fully intact after shipping. The original source plants come from Pender County North Carolina. Pinguicula Lutea is a temperate Butterwort and goes dormant in the Wintertime. They can grow to about 3 inches across and make yellow colored flowers.
Each Carnivorous Plant you purchase from me will receive a free 3 inch net pot, like the one pictured with the plant above. Net pots are the best kind of pots for Carnivorous Plants. This is because they have superb aeration for the roots. Each plant will also come with a portion of Long Fibered New Zealand Sphagnum Moss, enough to fill your pot. New Zealand Long Fibered Sphagnum Moss is the finest kind of Long Fibered Moss. It can hold up to 20 times its weight in water.

Shipping Terms:
Each Pinguicula Lutea Butterwort will be shipped semi-bareroot with some moistened Long Fibered Sphagnum Moss wrapped around their roots. I will disturb their roots as little as possible. Butterworts have somewhat delicate roots so to make sure they stress as little as possible during shipping and when you pot it up I leave the moss that they are growing in around their roots. So the moss and their roots are not rinsed and may contain a little algae on them. Shipping costs only 1.88 but each additional Carnivorous Plant of any kind you buy from me will be only .17 extra for each plant.I take all my orders to the post office at least 4 times a week.

In most circumstances you will receive your plant within 2 to 5 days from the day I receive your payment. I ship to anywhere in the US only.

If you live in California I will need to charge you 8.25% sales tax.
